At Miss Amy’s, we believe we are only as strong as our community. We are actively involved in many community service projects during the year. Right now, our dancers and parents have gathered HUNDREDS of gifts for a very special family in our community. In the past, we have collected for the Humane Society in Dickson County, recently collected clothing and shoes, and also participate in the Cancer Auction in April in Dickson.
If you have ideas about a community service project please let us know!
Miss Amy’s dancers perform in the community – at nursing homes, basketball halftime shows, and local parades.
Here’s some pictures and an article from a recent performance at the Signature Nursing Home in Erin, TN. http://shcoferin.com/gallery-post/signature-hosts-tiny-dancers/
We took part in National Red Nose Day May 26th, a chance to buy a silly nose, wear it and raise money and awareness for children’s issues like forced child labor, child abuse and preventable childhood diseases.
